We all live in a Beautiful World. The geophysical attributes: Rivers and streams, mountains and valleys, forests and deserts; and the animals that inhabit... including Man. Man in himself is an interesting species - always trying to be in charge. Always trying to control and manipulate. Always trying to take advantage. The world and its ecosystem; its balance between destruction and creation; between endings and renewals; between death and life is almost perfect... but then there is Man, and anytime you put "Man" into the scene it most always goes out of balance.

Today we have an unusual, a new and somewhat undefined challenge that is confronting us as a Society, and one that is directly affecting our Culture. Studies have shown that more than 50% of our young people (30 years and younger) are challenged, are suffering in a way unheard of in the past. Mental Health, depression and anxiety, setting and achieving Goals, Life-Path, and Spirituality. For me, with my 72 years of living it is easy to see - It's not that these young people have allowed themselves to get lost, it's that society itself has lost them.

The four Pillars of Culture that concern us here are; the downhill slide of Education; the weakening of the Family Unit; the loss of Spirituality; and the Digital World - that includes Cell Phones & Social Media Platforms, TV, movies, and magazines.
Central of these four Pillars of Culture and most importantly is The Family.

The ARC Grassroots Mission Statement
The Mission of ARC Grassroots is to bring the Ideals and Objectives of the ARC (Alliance for Responsible Citizenship) to the integration level. The level of Society where Cultural Change actually happens; at the Grassroots where everyday people actually and effectively exercise the cultured and conditioned mores and ethos as dictated by established societal norms.
Through out history, and within a short-term confine cultural change has been effected in two basic ways; Imperialism, dictated from the top, down; or Revolution, effected from the bottom, up.
In an effort to bring and maintain Peace worldwide it would seem that the only approach to a more rapid Cultural Change left on the table is through Revolution... from the bottom, up. Revolution can be defined is several ways, and we at ARC Grassroots are not, and we do not advocate an armed uprising or insurrection in any form whatsoever. What we do advocate is the fact that to change Societal and Cultural mores and ethos without the use of War, Force, or Threat is to in someway teach, set an example of, and foster a new vision that brings value to and motivates the everyday citizen.
In History there have been many highly valued “Change-Makers.” Some have been Inventors who's inventions changed our lives. Some have been Heroes in the moment where their actions or reactions have saved other people or things of value. Some have been Scientists who's discoveries effected all of us, and even Revolutionaries, who's actions have created new nations. These people who take action have usually been inspired by some other thing... an ancient ideal or religious foundation. The writings of an author, poet, or philosopher. Sometimes vengeance, hate or even love. The point is that, based on whatever inspiration that consumed them, these “Change-Makers” actually took action. Not only did they have Brains... they also had Hands. Too often in today's Culture we have these intelligent, well-placed, highly financed “Think Tanks” that come up with all sorts of wonderful objectives and perspectives – so they have Brains. What they too often do not have are capable Hands that can actually take these wonderful objectives down to the grassroots and make them a reality.
Here at ARC Grassroots we are the hands, and we have no intentions of letting the Hopes, the Ideals, and the Visions of the ARC (Alliance for Responsible Citizenship ) to be just that... a set of wonderful, mindful Objectives. We believe in By, Of, and For the people; all People. That is where these Cultural Innovations and Safe-Guards will take hold and grow; Bottom, up.
